Best Mecha Collection RX-78-2 (Revival)

Price: 10€ + Painting tools and glue

Box art.

This kit was okay to build. I think it is the revival version of one of the worlds first gunpla kits so you have to paint it and use glue while building it and it was a little frustrating sometimes, specially with the glue.

Usually I try to take pictures as much as possible, but with this kit I didn't really take pictures that much because I was chilling with my bf while building and totally forgot, sorry about that.

I decided to try to paint the parts while they were in the runner, but later realized I have to paint the spots I cut the nubs from, so I think next time I'll paint them after cutting.

Painting the parts.

I did some panel lining with Pigma micron pens 005 and it smeared alot with this kit.. Not sure if the pen was too wet or it was too "slippery" plastic.

Hands and one leg done.

After some assembly I painted the painted parts with gloss varnish to protect the paint and let it dry overnight.

Waiting for the gloss varnish to dry.

And here's the finished build!

Finished build.

I'm not too happy about the paint job I did, could've been more carefully done..
But even it was little frustrating kit, it still was a fun little quick build for a cheap price.

I also make trading cards from the boxes the models comes in and save them in a binder. That way I don't have to save the boxes since they will be taking alot of space.

Trading card.
