My gaming-history

I have been playing games on and off since childhood. I remember playing Tekken 3, GTA and other random games on Playstation 1 and 2 when I was a kid. In the teenage years I was really into The Sims-series and I still own the physical copy of The Sims 1 I had back then. Sadly I have lost the other The Sims game's physical copies. I also made my first Steam account at some point and played alot of Team Fortress 2, I was Pyro main. I also had Xbox360 available and I played alot of Halo-series and Call of Duty Zombies.

When I moved out to my own place and purchased my very first PC I really started getting into gaming, this was about 10 years ago. I started by playing CS:GO with my brother and his friends and slowly started playing various of games when I was able to upgrade my PC to a better one. And I have been gaming since then.

If I list all my favourite games here, it would be too long, so here's a few: Soulsborne-games (Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 at the top), Onimusha-Series (I speedrun the first two), and Dead by Daylight (at the moment my most played game, 1830+ hours of gametime).

I also started speedrunning couple years ago. I've speedrun only couple games so far, but it's been super fun to learn! If you're interested in speedrunning, you can find my speedrun.com profile >HERE< .

At this moment, I have a challenge to clear as many games as possible in my backlog and trying not to buy more games.

Q & A

What is a backlog?

Well, it's a list of games you own and want to play at some point. It's pretty much like a wishlist but you own the games.

You build a backlog when:

  • You buy games during sales.
  • You claim free games on Steam, Epic Games, etc.
  • You stop playing before finishing (Something I need to stop doing).
Why are you doing this?

One day at the end of the year 2024 I was looking at my Steam and Epic games libraries and realized that I barely play any "new" games, I seem to play the same old 3 games over and over again even though I buy new games on every sale.. This must come to an end and I really have to start playing more variety of games and get some worth to the money I keep spending on games. So I made a new years resolution for 2025 to start clearing my backlog.

Why are you only listing the finished games here?

To make your (and my) life easier, I decided to make a list of finished games by year on the website. You can find them on the navigation bar on the left side of the site.

But if you still wanna see the complete-ish list of my backlog, you can find it >here< . The list contains over 600 games and because Epic Games gives you free games weekly the list keeps on growing, and some games has not been added for this same exact reason. The games may also be listed multiple times under different platforms. You have been warned.
